Game Worn 1985 A’s Road Jersey of HOFer Don Sutton.

A game worn Oakland A’s road jersey worn by 300 game winner and HOFer, Don Sutton. Jersey is green with 2 color “OAKLAND” and “27” sewn on front and back, with one color “SUTTON” NOB, sewn directly to jersey. There is also green and yellow elastic banding around collar and sleeves. Jersey made by Rawlings of classic double knit with proper tagging sewn inside of front tail, and is a size 44. A tough style with capital OAKLAND on the front, made more rare as Sutton only played with Oakland for less than one season (‘85) where he went 13-8. Shows little wear except for what looks like scraping from either a ball or a glove to shake off catcher’s signs. As you can see, Sutton wore his usual #20 as well as # 27 in 1985 for Oakland.
