Gaitan tooled leather bifold wallet Nice quality British tan leather wallet by Gaitan. Made in Mexico around 1960's or 70's. Tooled design on front and back. One side has a floral motif, the other shows a bird, maybe an eagle or hawk sitting on what looks to me like a Mayan calendar. The edges are whip stitched in brown. Inside has 2 long cash slots, on side has a flap for a checkbook. 1 card size slot and a large ID slot with plastic film. It measures 7 1/4" L X 3 7/8" W X 1/4" D.. It is in very good condition.m exterior. The inside has some light surface scuffs or marks and wear to the corner of the slip cash pocket.
