andreyag011916 @hopesgems one of the other items that my grandma left to my sister n it was also taken by that individual was a dark blue real sapphire it has little very bright clear diamonds all around it. It was white gold I think but either gold or silver would be fine. hopesgems @andreyag011916 It’s a 1/3 of a carat, which would be more valuable if it were one stone. These are many very small stones with metal work in between to give a look of paved stones. The platinum over the silver really brightens the work. There is a lot of workmanship here because these aren’t diamond chips; each stone is cut. I’ve also reduced the price a lot.

hopesgems @andreyag011916 For your sister, just to let you know that our blue sapphires for the most part are very dark and do not have a lot of clarity, although still very pretty. We have a Kyanite with pink sapphires on side that is very pretty, but size 5. Iolite is another stone that looks like blue sapphire and at a lower price point and with more clarity than our blue sapphires.

You have to look at the entire closet; if the seller just has a couple pieces of jewelry, then she may unknowingly have a fake, however if she has numerous pieces than she more than likely knows. Also, you have to ask, if she has a big bright blue sapphire, why is she selling it for $50.00?

When I retired from Social Work I went into the jewelry business with no intention of selling online, because there is way too much competition out there and people are too fearful of buying jewelry from an unknown source. So I purchased a lot of inventory and started doing trade shows.

I also needed more help than I anticipated. Altogether, it just was a bad decision on my part, so I’m selling on Posh hoping to get half my investment back. My daughter works with me and I give her half of what we make, which works for both of us.

hopesgems @andreyag011916 Free at last! My daughter posted quite a few rings today,they are under the category of Fine Jewelry Rings. She tried to focus on blue sapphire and similar stones. I assume you know the ring you showed me is basically the Princess Diana ring and thus just googling that will find you many copies. If you really want that exact ring, I don’t think it will be hard to find. I have rings with some commonalities, but not that specific ring.

hopesgems @andreyag011916 Now finding the real thing at a low price point, that may not be so easy. The problem with rings is also the sizing. Every other piece of jewelry is basically one size fits most. Take a look at what was listed; my daughter Natalie did a great job of getting a fair amount in the closet today. It’s by no means all of our ring inventory.
