Soft, sturdy cotton twill shorts with a touch of elastane for stretch, in a lovely, versatile sage green. Slim fit in the leg. No obvious spots, flaws, or wear. Approximately 20 inches from waist to hem. These fit like bermuda shorts, but aren't baggy. See photos: I am 5'4 and about 150 lbs, for reference, and generally wear a 10-12 in pants. These are probably closer to a 10 than a 12 in size --- again, a pretty slim fit.
