Incredible piece by John Galliano of Dior fame. The fabric is the finest lace imaginable ... Cobweb lace, with a nude lining. The softest netting is used for the bodice straps, and it's simply one of the most flattering and comfortable dresses you will ever wear. The plunging back adds a surprising touch of sex appeal, but the dress sings class. Fitted perfectly from the soft cups of the bust to the fitted darts over the derrière. Haute couture at its finest. onceuponathyme You can't tell, @styledbykblake, but the straps here are the same netting as in our dress.

styledbykblake It would be a bit big probably, I will need to get blood samples and much more before a tailor can touch it!

onceuponathyme I was surprised it fit me so well... I'm a 6, but this was like a dream once I got it on. Even braless, it's just YUMMY! I wished you were here with the other one and we could do photos together. I can't believe I had both these dresses in my closet - and have styled them both - but didn't put them together. I should've done an "All Galliano" shoot. :-) @styledbykblake

onceuponathyme My husband is yelling at me for getting the exposure wrong, but it was SO hard to capture the delicacy of this lace...

styledbykblake Have dress will travel and you won't have to twist my arm, I'd get to do my job and style "All Galliano" with friend and amazingly talented stylist!

onceuponathyme @styledbykblake - When my husband was shooting he said, "!@#$ I forgot what a great back you have. $#@! You're a pretty girl." ahhhhhh. :-D It's the backless dress thing. :-D

styledbykblake Ooh I know I know! See this dress is bringing out the husband compliments! Backless is truly I think the sexiest. I know the plunging neck is so very now, but backless is such a contradictory and mysterious secret! Who does it better than Galliano?

onceuponathyme @styledbykblake. I TOTALLY agree. There's nothing like the surprise of turning around . . . getting them coming and going. And of all the designers, I don't know WHY I have SUCH a thing for Galliano, but I do. I have a smattering of other fabulous designer things (Prada fairy dress and purse, a few little tasty goodies like that), but nothing has attracted me for as long and as consistently as Johnny. I'm afraid I'm ALMOST at the end of the Galliano portion of my rack, unless I find some goodies stuck where they don't belong (never, right? hahahahahaha). This one and the one you now have have been my favorites. Plus the boots, of course. And I find that - looking back through my book - he has really touched my own desires, because I find myself gravitating towards that big skirted, delicate but bold flavor. It's a LITTLE like what Free People does - and probably why I like their stuff (and their catalogue even more). But it's bigger and more fairy tale, while at the same time being more real. I'm going to take a nap - I was up posting all night - but YES. Yes about the back. Yes about the magic and sex appeal. And YES to Galliano . . . I want him not just back on his own, but back doing shows for a major house SO badly. I know . . . he was invited to help out with Oscar de la Renta's show last spring ... and I'm grateful. But - not the same. His vision needs full scope. I'm waiting for it. I hope he has his demons under control. I am really eager to see what the powers that be let him do this year.
