Beautiful beaded mermaid wedding dress. Purchased from David’s Bridal for $1500. Paid $300 extra for the bustling and support in the bust area. Dry cleaned and perfectly packaged waiting for a beautiful bride. Online pictures down for inspiration and detail. The dress is GORGEOUS! Perfect for someone who wants a form fitting look but also a little flair. The train is the perfect length and has all the buttons for bustling for when you’d like to walk freely. You’ll love it! (I wear a size 12, but for wedding dresses, you’ll size up).
Measurements- see pics
Underneath bust about 15-16” across
Hip area estimated about 21-22” across
Length ( not incl strap) from top of breast cup to floor approx. 56”. I did not have the dress hemmed. Original length.

Is the belt that's on it removable or did it get sewn to the dress?

@acuna51594 it’s removable. I bought it separately and didn’t get it stitched to the dress.

OH, fabulous! May 10th, 2025. I tried this dress on at David's bridal Saturday and loved it but the $1500 price tag was just too much. I would be a size 12 so I'm hoping it's not too much to be altered. Im checking with my seamstress

What are the measurments on the dress?

@acuna51594 - I tried to take a few measurement pics. It’s about 15-16” under bust. The hip area is approx 21-23” and 56” from breast cup to the floor. I did not get it hemmed. It’s the original hem. Probably another 3-4” when you add in the straps.
What did your seamstress say?
Let me know if you have more questions! I’ll be happy to help.

when you had the dress altered did they cut out the material or is it still in the dress incase i need to bring anything out?

@acuna51594 - they didn’t hem the dress so all of the natural length is there. She did pin the straps but I don’t believe she cut anything out. Most likely since you’re smaller size your seamstress will take it in for you.

@acuna51594 - feel free to make an offer. What were you thinking?

@acuna51594 - after Posh takes their cut this puts only receiving $560. I paid $1500 plus $300 in alterations so I can’t do $700. I countered for you at $775 which I think is fair giving you $75 off the price. Let me know if you have questions. This dress is GORGEOUS!! You’re going to be a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE🎉🎉🎉. I just want to recoup a decent amount. I’m sure we can make this work💕💕👰♂️
