The classic Frye Carson boot is the best style Frye ever made, in my opinion. This pair has been worn a few times so it has a few minor scuffs, but they actually add to the rugged look of the style. I had 1/8 inch rubber heels added to the leather heel to mute the sound when walking on a hard floor. I hate giving these up, but I just don’t have the occasion to wear them anymore. The shaft measures 12 inches at the highest point and 10 inches in front and back. The heel measures one and three-quarter inches. This style runs a little large....7 with thicker socks but these fit my size 8 feet with thin socks.
