French wine taster

Tastevin from France, made of pewter, very old, has imprints of fish, fowl, and plants inside cup. Has hieroglyphic type writing on front. Has a round indentation in middle of cup, indicating it was used to judge the quality of red wine, clarity, cloudiness, and fluidity. One picture is of the bottom of it, the word stamped is ETAIN, which is French for tin, or pewter. This shows signs of the metal being hammered into shape, which means it was not mass produced. One of a kind, I'd guess.
