French Ribbonwork Floral Applique/Embellishment - Pink Ombre Blossom w/ Leaves

Needing only a few stitches to reinforce the floral and leaf, may I offer this 1920s Art Deco era ribbon work floral I picked up in France a long, long time ago. The floral is made of pink ombre ribbon with a gilt thread edge; at the center are yellow sugar pips. The single leaf is green ombre ribbon with a slightly darker edge. Size is 15/16" wide x 13/16" high. Lightweight piece. Entirely hand sewn. To attach to your favorite project, add a pin to the back (this piece can not be washed due to the pips) - this way, the piece can be detached before your item is cleaned. The ribbon applique is quite secure now and is in no danger of falling apart. Uses? A dolls hat or dress, a blazer lapel, a dress, a lampshade .... the uses are endless. So hard to find, a true vintage piece of French ribbon artistry. PRICE IS FIRM
