French Ribbonwork Floral Applique/Embellishment - Orange Ombre Blossom

Needing only a few stitches to reinforce both the floral and the leaf, may I offer this 1920s Art Deco era silk ribbonwork floral I picked up in France a long, long time ago. Both sections are made of silk ombre ribbon and complement each other nicely. 2" x 1-5/8". Lightweight piece. Entirely hand sewn. To attach to your favorite piece, either sew on or add a pin to the back - this way, the piece can be detached before your item is cleaned. The ribbon applique is quite secure now and is in no danger of falling apart. Uses? A dolls hat or dress, a blazer lapel, a dress, a lampshade .... the uses are endless. Because of the silk content and age, the piece should only be pinned onto an item if it is to be cleaned in the future. So hard to find, a true vintage piece of French ribbon artistry. PRICE IS FIRM
