Vintage French café sign, porcelain enamel (over metal), just like you see all over France ... but this one has a twist. Instead of directing you to the WC or the kitchen, this one warns "CAUTION - INSANE CAT" (Attention Chat Lunatique) This is old, so there are some signs of distress (see photos), but it's in overall good condition. Measures 4 by 6 inches. An absolute necessity for the Francophone or Francophile home ruled by a crazy cat! (A tip: There are reproductions available of this plaque -- the newer ones have a grommet over the holes where the screws should be inserted. The originals don't have that -- which is why you almost always see chips around the mounting holes in French café signs!)
