French Country Provence Bread Basket

This is a beautiful bread basket. Never used, just displayed. I have several pieces from Aix en Provence and they’re all beautiful. The earthiness to this French pottery is unique. From the famous Lallier pottery in Moustiers, France, this faience plate/basket features trademark bird and floral design. The raised scalloped edges are trimmed in green. This piece is a perfect addition to a collection or it could also be as trinket dish on your dresser. It is signed on the bottom. In wonderful vintage condition, no chips or cracks. ~10” w x 2.5” tall faience blanche, (French: "white faience"), type of French pottery of the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
