Sold out size & style online! Beautiful Rylan Freebird boots, I’m the second owner but never worn outside & only tried on. These are in excellent condition no flaws whatsoever. Color is very dark navy blue almost black. The leather is beautiful and soft. The buckles all adjust and there is a gusset in the back too to customize the perfect fit. Depending on your height they will hit either back of your knees or slightly over is you’re shorter. I’m so sad to let these go, just hoping to find them a home where they can be loved and worn. Priced to get the money I paid on them back. Feel free to post any questions, I’m happy to help!
**lowball offers will be ignored. These boots are stunning, handmade, high quality leather, and pristine condition. Price is firm.

How do these fit? I'm an 8.5 typically and usually go down in Freebirds but I don't have any of their tall boots.

@katewats I am between a 7.5 and an 8. These fit more on the snug side for me in the footbed but the leather is super soft and would break in beautifully. It’s doable for my foot but the calf size is where I cannot zip (so sad, I’m so bummed) so I can’t wear them. I’m leaning towards these being a size up for you since you are a half size. What other birds do you wear?

@birdnferncloset Thank you, this is super helpful! It does sound like I'd need to size up. I wear a 9 in Detroit and an 8 in Felicity, Cheyenne, and all the sandals.

@katewats I’m certain a 9 would be best for you too! Thanks for checking them out!

@birdnferncloset Have you taken the boots to a cobbler to see if they could stretch the calf? It should be doable.

@katewats thank you, I have thought of that. There aren’t many cobblers in my area, one place I trusted had closed after the pandemic which was sad. I tried another cobbler to fix a very small stitch in my Liverpool boots and she charged $18 for one boot and one little stitch that didn’t even match the color, ugh so that was very frustrating and I don’t think I want to go back to that shop. I’ve considered buying my own calf stretcher and doing it myself, worth the investment but haven’t yet.

@birdnferncloset heat from a blow dryer makes them easier to stretch. Warm them while on your foot. I’m not sure about calf stretches though.

@dimpls thank you! That’s definitely a great trick for boots!

@birdnferncloset when I received mine from Freebird they were the smallest running size 8 I’ve ever gotten from them . So put them on with blow dryer, bent down a few times once warm to help with the breaking in and then wear them for about an hour. It works for me 😀

@laurarentschler hi, thanks for your interest and offer! I’m sorry that we are just too far apart with it. I bought these for $275 and am willing to come down a bit to take the loss, I hope you can understand! Thanks again for considering these beautiful boots & happy poshing!
