@ac9185 hi sweetie, as fast as you can give me waist measurements, that will be all I need to know, I can't go by sizes alone, but the waist measurement will tell me whether these will work and are they 100% cotton or 98% cotton 2% spandex!? Thanks much

@ac9185 I think I'm going ahead and purchase, because I feel these may go very quickly, I think they will fit because I have had free people in A 26 before and they have been too large, but it just depends on how these are made and how they run. We can always cancel within three hours if the just measurements do not sound good for me. And it also depends on whether they are 100% cotton or have that little bit of spandex in them, for a little stretch.

@loopholer do you have any idea how they run? I'm sure the sweet seller will get back with me when she sees my comment, but I'd like to know ASAP, these could go very quickly! I've had free people jeans before that run small, I have had them run large, so I have no clue about these. You will probably know. But I am usually always a 25 or 26, for sure

I felt like they were a little large. Although I didn't get new with tags and I've not had very many pairs of designer jeans I've only had one pair free people other than eighth that were actually blue Jean and they were the Bali flair-that rise although different and this one had a 27 didn't work so I grabbed the 28 slimiest

@loopholer should I go for it? I do love these and the NSF's that I sold by FP were a 26 and too big. Of course different style, just sayin ... all I would need is measurements of the waist, then I'd know ..

@2edgy these jeans are only slightly larger then a normal size 25 FP Jean. They are 25.5' inches around! Inseam is 30' inches!! Thanks for your interest!

@ac9185 you are very welcome for my interest, I love them, but I just have to ?, something doesn't seem right, as I know my jeans, FP & waist measurements well. Did you lay flat and measure across? Measuring that way, they should be somewhere around 15", which means 30" all the way around. If they were only 25.5, that means they only measured 12.75, lying flat, and that does not seem right for this size.

@ac9185 not trying to dispute your word sweetie, but I just want the correct measurements lying flat, across the waist, and I'll be good to go! I think they really are my waist measurements, but not at 12.75, that is really only equilavent to like a size 0. I saw another pair that were a size 24 and the waist said 14" , which is too small for me, but based on that, yours should be 14.75 or 15", which would be good

@2edgy So sorry, you are correct! Laying flat they are 14' inches! I think when I asked my mom to measure for me she may has used measuring tape around the whole waistline inside the jean!

@ac9185 and if I am not mistaken this style has 1 or 2% Lycra/spandex in them, which is good to provide a little extra stretch. -VS- 💯% cotton! You can't go by what size charts say, it's just best to get out the old school tape measure, LOL and measure straight across waist, that is the most accurate measurement👍🏼😊

@2edgy 14.5-14.75 is what my mom and I are thinking is more approximate! Usually I fit comfortably in a FP 25' but these were too big!

@ac9185 I will probably buy these from you if and when you are able to actually measure and get me the exact waist, lying flat measurements. Sometimes a 1/2" either way can make a difference. So I can't buy on, they are probably 14.75, etc. LOL! even tho, I'm "thinking" but do not know 100% sure, that they will be good based on the measurements I saw for the 24's which waist on those were a little too S. Thanks doll! :)

@2edgy they're closest to 14' inches. They are probably sized comparable to other 25 waist Free People jeans. That is the best measurement I can do!

@ac9185 NP at all, and TY for trying to figure out the measurement lying flat across, it's just it went from 14" across to probably apprx 14.75"-15" what you & your Mom thought, then back to 14" this morning, so I'm just a little scared. That 1/2" or so could make a big difference! The 24's I think said measured 14" and that is just too S for me, a 14.5 would prob work, 15 even better, but 14" would just be a little tight around the waist! :(

Since I didn't know you were going to do that or be able to get the exact measurements for me, I kept looking for these, because I truly wanted a pair & I found a pair that I've only been worn once and was able to purchase them for $25.
