Hi! If they are NWT how did they piling & stain occur?

@dazedlily I wore the joggers a few times with the tag attached and then sadly a few times after wearing it, it chaffed the inside of the garment and made some pilling. Stain is from a coffee shop I visited in them. I removed the new with tag on the listing and removed photo of tag as tag is no longer on the pants.
