Frederick Mosell egg with mini glass perfume bottle and funnel made in the 50s.

Frederick Mosell egg that holds a bulb shaped mini glass perfume bottle and funnel. Within the pinecone design exterior shell is a mocha brown shell that can be seen through it. This egg opens and reveals inside a red felt lined interior shell with removable red felt liners - one on either side. One side holds the small, bulb shaped perfume bottle (empty) with a screw-style stopper and the other side holds a delicate glass funnel with a tiny handle that is used for refilling the perfume bottle. The interior top of the egg is stamped ‘Mosell’ (see photo). Frederick Mosell was a New York jewellery designer, known for his elegantly designed pieces.
