Miniature salt glazed pitcher handmade in Germany. This piece is glazed both inside and out and finished on the bottom. The blue used during the firing process has allowed the blue to flow slightly into the cream almost tan colored glaze giving it varied hues both deep and lighter blue. Handmade it does have it own unique characteristics for example lumps in the gaze that could be the salt, with ridges and holidays or divots in the porcelain used to make this pitcher. At approximately 5” this piece is a great size for shelf or countertop display. Could also be used to hold trinkets, change. Would also look cute with a succulent or air fern inside.
