n_greenthwaite Hello! Thank you for your inquiry about this Fossil handbag. I'm not at home right now, but I will take some measurements and get back to you later today. I would say the color is more brown than black, sort of like really dark coffee. Definitely not blue. The item has never been exposed to cigarette/cigar smoke. It has been in a storage tub for a few years, and may have some dust or pet dander. But it was never used, so the interior and exterior are in like-new condition.

n_greenthwaite Hello FrugalFashion01! Thank you for patiently waiting for the measurements. The handbag is approximately 12" wide x 9" high. The sides can expand to about 4". The removable shoulder strap is about 13" from the top of the bag to the top of the shoulder strap. I've added some photos with a measuring tape for reference.

n_greenthwaite Also, the inside tag states that the purse is cowhide leather with textile interior. I tried to take a photo of that as well, the original is pretty small so I zoomed in on the image so hopefully you could see the tag in photo gallery above.

n_greenthwaite Oh, and I do not detect any odor except may be a faint whiff of leather? It still has the moisture absorber packet in side. :)
