christieposh469 @kas75075 I completely understand. I have had a few of these questions from People wanting to buy. I've actually done research on this. so the thicker the band is on the side the more true to size it fits. So for instance the bright yellow buttercup thong, with the thin straps runs a little big by a 1/2-3/4 size. this panty has a little more of a thicker band so it runs more true to size. I have this particular panty in a Medium and I normally wear a Medium. hope this helps!👍
