vanannan @sandnpcola yes the straws have natural spf. But it is advisable to always wear sunblock in the skin if staying for long hours. However this hat is a perfect hiking accessory. Or walking.

vanannan @sandnpcola when I say natural spf it means it is not added. It is made from bamboo. Do I don't think you will be arllegic to it.
