The listing title says "monk strap wide" but the shoe is a 10.5M (as opposed to 10.5W). Is the shoe made for medium-width feet or wide feet?

You are right, it is my mistake when describing the width of the shoe.
As indicated on the shoe, the correct thing is M=medium
