The dress is lined and has a band that fits just below the chest with a ruching detail. Please look closely at all pictures. One shows where the fabric has thinned near the bottom, in the back of the dress, where a slit would be if it had one. You can barely see it. I only saw it when I went over the dress again, before posting.
