robmino I just bought this dress in XL thinking like my bra size (which is 36) So I thought 39" would be nice a big....but it does not fit at all...may I exchange it for a 3XL please?

robmino right underneath armpit it's 21 inches across (if laid flat) so I need bigger then that. Hope that helps
