Convenient for serving meals. Lovely to look at. Light but very sturdy. Victorian design of floral on marbel-look background. Like new condition. Used only a few times and carefully hand washed. No scratches, dents, scrapes. Tray bottom 15-1/2 x 11-1/2. Overall size 19 x 12-3/4. Set of two serving trays. Purchased in an upscale gift shop in West Hartford, CT in the early 90's.
