lauralee16 @just_zay hi there. I had to look up how to describe 'piling' and added the picture to help provide a clear visual of what it looks like. It's when the fabric on the outside creates bobbles or balls from fabric catching together. And it would fit a medium I believe, since I'm a medium and I wear smalls in this brand. I hope that helps!

just_zay @lauralee16 oh no I'm sorry I know what piling is I didn't phrase it right when I was asking I meant is if that's the way the fabric is intended to look because a lot of times it denotes wear(like you see on the cuffs of sweaters the little balls of yarn) but other times the garment is intentionally made to look like this So I guess you're saying it's not because of wear but that's the way the fabric is supposed to be? Sorry for the confusion

lauralee16 @just_zay I'm sorry, i got confused. These pieces are intentionally meant to have a vintage look. The fabric piles very quickly after buying brand new. It is worn though, does that help?
