Fire Opal Jasper with Pearls & Sterling Silver Necklace Very unique and one-of-a-kind, handcrafted, artisan necklace. Main stone is Red Jasper with Fire Opal naturally occurring within the stone. Essentially fossilized within the Jasper. Twisted, rope like silver pieces connected by hooded ends adorned with a silver bead on each end. The silver doesn't have any markings but the maker assured me it was sterling. Gorgeous! The necklace was purchased from a local jewelry maker at an art fair 25 years ago in Mendocino County, Northern California for $400.
