Finely detailed sandalwood fan, vintage, 1960s, made in China,

This has been sitting in a trunk from the 1960s and is in great shape. Sandalwood is lightweight and beautiful. In the tropics sometimes scent was applied to the fan so you could enjoy a lovely fragrance. This fan is beautifully carved and almost looks new. It has stayed in the box for years. The box shows quite a bit of wear but the fan was well protected and is almost pristine.
