Fenton Art Glass 8.5" Ruffled Red Drape and Tie Footed Pedestal Bowl Compote

Signed Fenton iridescent red carnival glass drape and tie pedestal bowl / compote dish. Features a drape and tie pattern with a glossy textured feel in shades of red inside, smooth panels outside of bowl and the foot is an Amberina color. It is a one-of-a-kind item from the Fenton product line in 1977. It is rather similar to Millersburg's Rosalind compote that has radiating arcs that are reminiscent of peacock tail designs. Measures approximately 8 1/4" in diameter at widest part of bowl, 4" T to top of bowl, base is 3 7/8" Dia. This Fenton red carnival glass compote/footed bowl is a stunning piece in art nouveau style. It is signed with the Fenton oval stamp impressed on bottom of base. This beautiful piece is perfect for collectors and lovers of carnival glass production style. Weight 2 lbs.
