moon1feather @gailgillespie yes 150 years. They will probably live twice mine. They are healthy ,and very active. They have never gone to a vet in their lives. I’m Dr .Momma. I am pretty much the only person they were handled by most of their lives. They are 48yrs old now.

moon1feather Their names ? The blue and hold is Butch . We named him that because we didn’t want to have him sexed. Well , The Catalina (10,000.00 egg) belonged to my husbands best friend so we four went on a egg shopping trip . About 6 years after be hatched them and they were well on their way

andreyag011916 @moon1feather I LOVE these I have an Amazon parrot and I have been saving all of his beautiful feathers. I always said I’ll do something with the feathers one day. I even save the tiny ones from his head,so adorable your birds. My boys name is Apollo. He is 3 years old. I have always had birds they are the best pets I can’t understand how everyone does not own one.

moon1feather @andreyag011916 ya know people really don’t like parrots and I adore mine. They are my babies. I bought them as hatchlings 48 yrs ago. I’d go into a deep depression if they were to die or whatever. But they will also if anything happen to their momma. I’m alL they know . I had them before my kid. She’s grown and 34 now . But they’ll out love me for a minute anyway. 150 years on a healthy McCaw

andreyag011916 @moon1feather yes they surely are wonderful talkers my boy talks sings whistles he says so many things even knows what the things mean so I don’t think he is just “mimicking” as they say, he learns many songs and will whistle them his fave is don’t worry be happy and he also sings opera he loves the magic flute and the song memory from cats. Lol
