Faux Ivory Train of Elephants in a Ring Carved Figural Circle Vintage

Vintage faux ivory carved circle of elephants linked in a train. I am not sure of its original use -- it is too large to be worn on the finger, at approximately 1 1/4" in diameter and 1/2" tall. It is in good shape with minor surface wear from normal handling. Location: 34
