@karengeo3 I taught at one point, my daughter in law is a college prof., my granddaughter teaches 3rd. Always looked for a"hook" for the kiddos. You have my admiration. I couldn't do it now.

@karengeo3 Grand daughter teaches in en area with lots of undocumented children. After our world got destroyed with Hurricane Michael I worked with her to get food to families as they were afraid to come out of the shadows and we're not eligible for most programs. If it hadn't been for Red cross and Salvation army I don't know what would have happened. I bet we took 500 meals to her students and families. it was heart 💔 ng.

@karengeo3 Rough time for everyone. 95percent of our buildings were damaged or destroyed. Grand daughter knew her family would "make it", but worried about her kiddos. Michael plus Covid causing lots of kids to suffer. For all intents our schools have been "wounded" since October 2018. kids have really taken an educational and emotional hit.
