So I keep turning boring hats into fun pirate hats, and this one can be yours - what say you? Not the costume store variety hat that is stiff and uncomfortable, this gorgeous velvet hat is soft and made to wear for more than trick-or-treating. Trimmed with gold and burgundy, the 5” brim is cocked up and securely laced with waxed cotton cord to form this classic tricorne pirate hat. Embellished with a black ostrich plume and a smaller cluster of red/burgundy feathers for extra flair. Ready to go on your next adventure as is, or add your bit of shine with a fancy brooch or pin, medallions, draped pearls or more feathers. The feathers are removable, tucked through two small slits in the hat. No tag, brand or size on this hat, the inside measures approximately 24” around. Please measure your own noggin to ensure the fit. If it’s too large, add a head scarf to make it more secure and add more pizzazz to your pirate look.
