I do not share items from closets that sell fakes. Nothing personal but it's my preference. I'm all about sharing and returning shares but I have my limits. Hopefully Poshmark can crack down on the fakes so that it makes it easier for sellers who are selling 100% Authentic items.

chelleshops My advice is stick to buying at the mall. Too risky with all these fakes. There are so many and lots of them are so close to real.

landerites @chicandclassic , Bravo. I know it's not allowed to sell fakes. I do see some posher's admit to it not being authentic and charging $10. I'm still not for it but at least they are being honest. What really gets to me are these people who swear it's authentic, even when it's a shoddy replica and are selling for hundreds of dollars. The buyers trust these people, pay for it and it comes damaged and they take it to the specific store to get it fixed and are told it's not real. I have read so many posts where the buyer contacts the seller to tell them this and the seller still wants them to accept it. I read one just the other day where the seller claims it cost $3,000 and it is in pristine condition. The buyer receives it and the bag is not functional. Has a lot of tears, the zipper was broken. This poor buyer contacted this seller and told her about it and the seller said, just hit the accept button so I can get my money and this will all be over. The seller had the audacity to say, a deal is a deal and when she sent the bag it was 100% perfect and blamed USPS stating, The bag was obviously damaged via transit. The bag was a super cheap fake. How do these people sleep at night? Why are they still allowed to sell when multiple listings have been proven to be fake? Sorry for the rant; however, that is so shady and wrong. One day it will catch up with them.

jeweledonyx I can tell a fake without much thought. IMHO, if you don't know and can't tell and forgot how to Google...just ask somebody or just don't buy. I haven't decided to sell on Posh yet, but I see sooo many fakes, open makeup, used underwear (OMG!!) and I do not understand why it continues. If it's too good to be true, I'm so not that woman. OTOH, I've seen the posts that won't share closets containing furs. I am fine with that, but I won't be sharing your replicas, partially used toiletries and used underwear (did I say OMG!!) I love your straight forward posts, Posh compliance and gorgeous shoes, bags,etc. 👍

bellasbeauties Ooops, I've had LV's for 30+ years and can pretty much spot a fake a mile away. But not everyone has the Keene eye or knowledge that I do. I really can't stand to see people sell these FAKES. They love to use other words, replica, inspired, I've seen twin . Eg at ever words they think will make them selves feel better about selling this (junk). I even saw on Katie Couric one day, that the ones who have to make this stuff are the poor kids overseas in those horrible seat shops.. That makes me even more mad. These sellers will charge a hefty chunk of money as well. It's just disgusting.. Sorry for my rant but it really gets my blood boiling... Bella

chicandclassic @melodykewl I'm use to it all the Italian designers are like that...especially Chanel and Christian Louboutin and YSL they all run very small. I always go up to whatever size is comfortable because I don't want any hurt feet. That is the most uncomfortable thing in the world
