Fabulous Vintage Dance Maxi Dress

Stunning black sequin & pleated maxi dress from 1970’s. Rear zip. Final 2 photos show inner construction. Body is not see through but arms are. Fine mesh illusion bodice under the bodice. I pulled up the top overblouse so you can see the silky black underlayer. Absolutely perfect for a turn on the dance floor. No tags for maker, size, or materials. It’s got a nice stretch, so it’s comfy and is figure flattering. Top half is COVERED with black sequins. I’ve measured this piece on one side, flat lay. Bust 18”, waist 17”. You can easily stretch another inch or 2 with no distortion. Length is 58”. No big flaws, zipper works great, no rips, stains or odors. There are lots of little threads hanging out, and I’m sure there are sequins that have fallen off over the years. But no interruption of the pattern. We styled our mannequin with a necklace and a hat, and she’s out the door. Sorry but the necklace & hat do not come with the dress ;)
