The interior fabric is high quality, with various compartments interior and exterior for every item you could possibly need. The bag can be used three ways: backpack straps, hand held, and over the shoulder strap. The dimensions are as follows: 17" zipper a the top 13.5" x 6.5" base, height is aprox 11". There are two exterior side pockets as well as a exterior phone pocket and exterior zipper pocket. These bags are fair trade and support the renowned weaving/embroidery skills of Guatemalan women.
