lbnewt @corielhm So sorry for the delay in responding. I have had a hectic weekend. The dress and lining is made out of Polyester. The inside blue lining comes down to about the knees. This dress would be perfect for island travel. We are going on a cruise in December and if it was my size I would wear it. There is no slit in the skirt. I will send you an offer for $22. In regards to is the fabric silky or matte I am not sure how to describe that but I would say the fabric is flowy. Leesa
