This vintage cotton fabric is a rare find from the 1950s, made by Cofabco in the USA. It has a kitchen-themed pattern set against a white background. The white color is not a pure snow white but rather an off-white shade with a subtle hint of red. The selvage edge contains an inscription that reads: "A Cofabco Guaranteed Washable Print". The fabric is woven with a slightly looser weave compared to most cotton fabrics. Due to its lightweight quality, it can be applied to a wide range of sewing projects, but it is not suitable for upholstery. This piece of fabric measures 35 inches in width from selvage to selvage and spans a length of 5.47 yards (5 m).
The fabric is in excellent condition. There is only one minor blemish, measuring 3/8 inch in diameter, located near the selvage (shown in the red circle). Also, the fabric emits a noticeable "thrift store scent" when sniffed up close. Aside from this, the fabric is free of any defects.
