VERY VINTAGE 1950’s -FIELDSTON Grow-a-year Baby Coat/Jacket . I estimate size 2T but please see measurements- UNISEX but I know this was worn by a girl. NOTE: This garment has been hand washed in cold water to freshen and air dried so could use a pressing . Man Tailored FIELDSTON Grow-a-Year wool gray black white cream tweed - Velveteen collar . Lined throughout-Belt sash in back. 19” Neck seam to bottom hem edge 8” underarm to edge of sleeve 13” underarm to underarm There are a few minor imperfections shown in pics: Small one inch open side seam above where back belt is attached ( could be easily mended and back belt could be made larger. Lining has two worn/torn areas - see pics There is an area that looks like it’s a bit of discoloration(pics # 9&10) on the underside of arm sleeve near edge I just now noticed while measuring. These imperfections have made me decide to offer for free with any purchase. I can’t let it go to a landfill remembering who once wore it 🥲It is a collectible vintage garment. This is the coat babies wore on Santa’s Lap in the 50’s!
