jupiterjade Repeated exposure to water (swimming, bath, etc.) can cause the charms to tarnish whether it's our Pugster brand silver plated charms or our 925 solid sterling silver charms. The effect on the silver plated charms can be permanent. The 925 silver charms can usually be recovered with professional cleaning when this happens. We recommend not getting them wet but should that happen they should be dried immediately with a soft cloth.
