FOXY 1960s' 3 SHADES OF GREEN FELT FEDORA WITH MEDIUM BRIM

This is a beautiful vintage hat with a medium brim. The has=t has 3 shades of green: The crown is rounded and made of a lighter green, which matches the felt on the bottom of the brim. The top of the brim is a darker green, which is also the color of the edging under the brim. The third shade of green is the wide grosgrain band, which ends in a large bow at the back. Simply stunning! The hat wearing requirement from previous decades was drastically subsiding in the 1960s. Most dressy hats in the 1960s were worn by women who embraced the traditional etiquette rules of wearing hats to match the occasion. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
