Is this solid gray? Or are there flecks of other colors?

Hi MR - The scarf is knit from a solid charcoal gray yarn, as opposed to a tweed or a variegated yarn. However as with any fiber, there may be variations throughout the strands. What you may be picking up on in the photos is that there is some sheen that is reflecting from the tops of the twist. I hope that helps! It does read as solid charcoal gray when worn.

Also I realize when you really blow up the image, there appears to be green and magenta in the image – but that is a result of the photo process and does not appear in the actual yarn.
