Fake London Genius Size 30 Men, 4-8 Women 32”Waist 38”Hip 10.5”Rise 32.5”Inseam This is a rare pair of jeans from 90s cult-status designers Fake London. Produced in Fall 99/00, this was one of the most recognisable and iconic pieces of clothing from the British Invasion / Naughties. These jeans were famously worn by both Madonna and Liam Gallagher, and Gwen Stefani wore the culotte version. They were highlighted in several fashion magazines and although produced for men they are unisex. Handmade in Italy, each pair is unique. This pair was purchased at Fred Segal and came from a photo editorial stock in Los Angeles - they were tried on for a shoot but never worn so they are vintage in the original condition. This pair is a rare size 30 and fits US 6-8 (although the mannequin is a 4 and they hang off the hips perfectly) . They feature that classic low slung waist and slouchy boyfriend /mens fit with a straight leg. They are heavily embellished with intentional distressing. The back pocket has the dog logo embroidery, the button is an enameled RAF target logo. The patches on this pair feature the order of the garter, the GB driving license and the Union Jack. All three use beautiful gold embroidery that has been distressed.
