I hope this doesn’t get taken down because this isn’t on this site. But im posting this here because the seller very well could be selling these on here too. I saw this pair of pants a week ago or so and immediately just had a feeling they were fake by the stitching. I made sure to screen shot her page and just keep an eye out. I’m going to explain everything in the comments. Updated** added a photo of this type of fake lulu that is found on other sites for $20 it’s almost the same!!

fitstyle_13 So I saw that another girl was selling them and I messaged her and was just asking her where she got them and info about the pants. She wasn’t sure but she said she bought them from this girl and she has suspicions that they were fake. I explained to her that I really really think they aren’t real and why I think that.

So this seller is clearly selling not authentic lululemon. Pls do not buy from this person. And do the right thing and speak up if you see that you could help someone in this situation.

fitstyle_13 @misscrabbypants it is really sad!! The good news is on poshmark it’s a lot more rare!! And it’s not easy to dupe them. There is a lot of things to look for. To me it’s the switching. If the product lays flat well. You can see on the photos here that the waist band is like slightly poofy Idk if that makes sense.

Idk if you saw the post a few days ago but someone posted a pair of dark carbon, but everyone was hesitant to buy because the seller kept saying there “wasn’t a size dot” even after like 3 people explained where to look. However, I do have like 3 pairs of older aligns that don’t have size dots, but I know they’re 100% real.

mcheers @amandabreana Some of the original ones with the double waistband don’t have size dots, a couple of my black pairs and my gator green pair doesn’t. But if the seller claims they’ve “only been worn a few times” then the size dot would def be there.

fitstyle_13 @ryannhealy it says practice on the side? Or it’s just the logo ? I know that a lot of stores can print on pretty much any of their fabrics if it says something on it. They are sort of custom. They make them for events or pop ups or collaborations they might have with a fitness studio. Is that what you mean? I tried looking on M just now couldn’t find her. ryannhealy @amandabreana it is printed in the bottom left calf. It is barely visible but it is reflective she has a BUNCH of black lululemon align II pants. NWT the seller is ChrisScott Keaston. I mean the tags look legit I scoured all of her photos and posts. Its printed “lululemon practice” on the bottom left calf. Its on like the last photo in some of her posts. Theres also one for sale on here. Type in lululemon align practice. Its a girl selling about 20 pairs of aligns for $750

alleycatseyes There are a lot of fake Lululemon on here. I don’t personally think it’s worth it unless you feel very confident in your product knowledge or comfortable with the sellers fb. I’d rather have one pair from lululemon than 2 fake pair from an unreliable seller - I’m a yoga teacher, personal trainer, have way too much lulu have found trusted sellers here as well as fakes. Check feedback

afisler @misscrabbypants the one true way to tell is ask to see the size dot, fakes won’t have them. Many sellers post a picture of the size dot, and if there isn’t one you can always ask. As for sizing, have you ever worn any lulu pants? Aligns are pretty easy when it comes to sizing and even if you’re wrong on the exact size you might still be able to wear them.

afisler @misscrabbypants I can wear a 4-8 in Aligns and they fit reasonably the same. If they’re too small they’ll have a bit more compression, if they’re the right size it should follow the contour of your legs, if it’s too big they’ll be a bit too long (and hemming is free so not a big deal) and a little looser but not much difference tbh

fitstyle_13 @cooperrider1 some of them don’t have pockets, size dot or any of that depending on how old they are and what style etc:( If you post a photo maybe it’ll be easier to see:) you don’t have to add anything in the description and maybe you can block who you bought it from if you don’t want them to see. Take a photo of the stitching. That’s an easy way to tell. They have a specific stitch on most of their clothing

fitstyle_13 @cooperrider1 I would say they are real based off the stitching alone. If they don’t have a pocket it might just be an older pair. They have made ones before with no pocket that you can fold over. They don’t have a pocket because then it would look funky being folded over. And if there’s no pocket on pants a lot of times theres not size dot

nutmegclothes @amandabreana hi there!! I am scared to death now of buying fake aligns. I have been buying Lulu for almost 10 years and I’m an align collector. I bought a pair the other day on a different site and they feel thinner to me than my previous pairs , I own about 40. The tag looks real the hangtag looks real and the size dotis in the pocket as it should be so I don’t know if they’re fake or if Lulu is just making their aligns a little bit thinner than they used to . I’m getting paranoid now😅

erinkbark Trying to decide if a pair I bough is fake? The logo looks legit, and it has the size dot in the pocket with the size and letters on the edge. The material just feels more cottony and less soft than what I would expect? Still nice and thick and fits well. There is no rip tag in them and no white little bit of fabric left behind where the rip tag would have been— is this a clue that they aren’t real?

rsquires91 Hey can you tell me if I got fake align leggings? I ordered them and when I opened them, everything immediately felt off. The leggings were in a lululemon store bag but when I opened them, they reeked of this strange perfume and were a bit off as far as the color advertised goes. They also have this weird thick cotton fabric that doesn’t feel like any of my other aligns I’ve had before. The lululemon logo is both on the inside and outside of the waistband.

fitstyle_13 @rsquires91 I am not 100% sure but this sounds like maybe they are very old wunder unders or high times as they were called. And they were the ones that folded over. Not aligns. And also they are probably over 10 years old. I could be wrong though. Seeing a picture would help:) but I have seen the logo on the inside and outside. And those don’t have a pocket because the waist band folds over so it would show.

mrcleansbabe hey guys I was wondering if a pair of lulus i bought are real. theyre 25" black leggings with criss crosses on the side. it has lulu logo but seller had cut out tag and there are no pockets for size dot to be in.
