I bought this jumper for $125 from eBay, it looks overall legit except that the label looks sus, very different from another piece I recently bought directly from the official site. Please comment and let me know what you all think! Thanks! Update: Was able to have the seller approve the return eventually, the typos on the tags are hard to ignore evidences that cannot be explained by things like variance in production time/manufacturers. Update 2: I found the seller selling on PM as well, updated this post to fake alert and adjusted the price to $50 for more attention. Please do not buy!

c1anderson hey there, I bought this jumper directly from Sezane, and yes your label does look different! There’s no black threading on the back side. Could just be because it’s an older release or something. I dunno?

devintey The font on it does seem off; like it's very "messy", not crisp, and also a bit thick. Posting the materials tag might help too though, sometimes those look even worse on fakes.

trz424 @c1anderson Thanks for the info! I haven’t bought any earlier Sézane products, hoping to hear from more ppl to know for sure if this is truly counterfeit. Lots of Sezane products gets sold here as well, guess it is also important to raise awareness of buyers here on counterfeits…

mursutin The backside of the tag seems off for sure. It's different compared to my Leontine and other Sezane knits - none of them has black threading. There are lots of Leontine fakes, e.g., on AliExpress. Do you maybe have a picture of the material tag?

tinatran114 I agree with everyone else, I have two Leontines directly from Sezane and the tag on yours is different. I think the weave of the fabric also looks a tad tighter, because I’ve caught my sweater a few times and thought “this weave is too open!” Hope that helps and sorry this has happened!

devintey @trz424 If you file an "item not as described case", you'll win. It doesn't matter that the seller has a no return policy, because they are at fault. Their return policy has no bearing if they sold you a fake (or otherwise not as described) item.

mursutin @trz424 The material tag actually looks pretty good but it says "tumbe dry" and "iron low hear," i.e., there are some typos. How scary that the fakes are becoming so good 😳. It used to be much easier to identify them 😞.

trz424 @mursutin thanks a lot! I did not notice these typos before! The seller insists that her item is authentic with receipts/labels from different manufacturers etc etc and she is filing a report for abuse of return policy on me (???), I will use these typo evidences to defend myself.

tinatran114 @jennojenkins hi! I think it runs TTS. I like wearing sweaters a bit loose, so I usually go up a size. I’m 5’7” and 135lbs, and the medium fits best. I do have another in size large, but it’s just wider and not longer in body or sleeve. Hope that helps :)

I’m new to Sézane and just started following the brand on here and definitely don’t want to be taken advantage of! I’ve had 2 buyers scam me in here too as a seller. I’m feeling so down about. angelajung @trz424 There are several on that other site (poshmark won't let me comment the name of the site lol) right now too! A few different accounts with no feedback and they have more than one available. Most are shipping from China. I was so excited a few mins ago until I actually clicked through and saw those red flags. Such a bummer. Glad you got your refund.
