My 5 year old stepson was diagnosed with a cateract in one eye. First update- his surgery went well... scary but he is okay and took it like a champ. The cateract came out easy and the lens fit in it's place. We are hopeful some sight might come back but only time will tell if his brain shut off that eye for good. 2nd update- his sight came back!! Before he could barley see any light or hands- Surgery eye is 20/30, normal eye is 20/25!!
