Extra Large Vintage Gold Mesh Bib Scarf Necklace by Whiting & Davis

Known for inventing metal mesh at the turn of the last century, this signed Whiting and Davis gold tone mesh scarf necklace from the 1960's is stylish, chic and an iconic piece from the famous accessory designers. This original Whiting and Davis bib necklace fastens at the back of the neck with a hook closure that is adjustable to fit several sizes. The mesh portion is 18 inches wide across the top, plus a three inch chain extender. The drop measures 9.5 inches. The sides measure 12.5 inches. It's a unique piece due to the black stripe which I've not seen before in a Whiting and Davis design. This piece is in mint vintage condition!! Although this necklace is nearly 60 years old, it remains fashionable and looks beautiful with today's styles. It would be stunning addition to a slinky holiday blouse.
