alittlebird8 Birdie, I am messaging you to let you know that these beautiful sconces arrived broken. The front of one, the back of the other. I took pictures of both sconces, plus the shipping labels so you can file a claim with the delivery, but I don't know how to get those pictures to you.

alittlebird8 I am sorry for the late notice, but I was in Virginia taking care of my mother, who just had surgery for cancer. I had this item shipped to my home in Alabama, & just opened it right before I contacted you. You were right. They were exquisite. I took pics of both the sconces, one was broken on the front top, the other on the back top, & the broken shards of glass in the wrapper. & I took pics of the mailing label & all info, in case you want to submit a claim with the shipper.

alittlebird8 I contacted Poshmark right after I contacted you, & told them the items arrived broken. I did not accept or submit a review because it's obviously not your fault it broke in shipping. The message I submitted only allowed me to upload one photo, & I took several. I will let you know as soon as I hear from Poshmark, please do the same.

Thank you for the additional information - it is very helpful. I am sorry that the sconces were damaged in transit. I am actually the one that packed and mailed them.

birdie240 @alittlebird When I listed the items I had no idea that they would be so hard to ship. I went to the USPS and two other places in searching for a shipping container that they would fit into. I purchased one other shipping box that did not work. I thought the large shipping tube that I sent them in would work. Continue..

birdie240 @alittlebird Anyway... I can also contact Poshmark to see how the payment can be transferred back to you. Did you receive any type of case # or situation ID # when you wrote to them. If so, I could use it it my correspondence to them. Again, I apologize that they arrived damaged. Also, again I hope that your mother is well on her way to a complete recovery. Take care.

alittlebird8 Thank you, again, for your kind words. I envy you living in Virginia this time of year. I miss the mountains, & the fall foliage. It's flat as a flitter in Alabama, & there is almost no color change at all on the Gulf Coast. I have not yet heard from Poshmark. If the form did not go thru, Poshmark may have been performing maintenances & upgrades on their site. Before you spend money on your computer, I would try again.

alittlebird8 Also, if you run a security scan, then install all updates, & run the security scan, again, you should be ok. Thank you for offering to refund, even though it was past the 3 day deadline. I will let you know, when I hear from Poshmark. & if I don't hear from them by tomorrow, I will message them, again.

alittlebird8 Birdie, I just checked in my purchase history. I have a message from Poshmark that says the order was cancelled & the money was returned to my account. The money isn't showing in my account, however, I know it can sometimes take a few days for the transaction to clear. I hate that the sconces arrived broken, they were truly exquisite. Thank you for your kindness, & for the refund, even though it was past the 3 days. Enjoy this beautiful autumn in Virginia!

birdie240 Thank you for your messages. I am just so sorry that the packaging wasn't sufficient and resulted in the sconces being ruined. They were very lovely and special. I haven't received any notifications from Poshmark and the money has not been withdrawn from my balance. Let's keep in touch until we are sure that this has been resolved. Although I took my computer and had it "tuned up so to say" Poshmark is still not allowing me to submit anything in the Need Support form. Have you received any further notification/update from them? I am sorry for the broken items and for all of this difficulty in getting it straightened out.

alittlebird8 The only message I received from Poshmark, is that the order was cancelled, & the money was returned to my account. I may be wrong, but I believe Poshmark protects both buyer & seller in these events, & that's why their percentage is a little higher than other seller formats (such as ebay). I did receive the refund. It took a few days. I hope that Poshmark will protect you as the seller. I would hate to see you lose the product & money.

alittlebird8 I'm so disappointed you don't have access to any more of these. They are so beautiful. I googled stain glass repairs, but there is no one who repairs broken glass, there is only panel replacement. :(

alittlebird8 @birdie240, I am overwhelmed by your kindness. My mother is doing well. The cancer was in stage 2, but had not spread to the lymph nodes. They believe they got it all in surgery, & she did not need chemotherapy or radiation, just regular screening to make sure it doesn't come back or appear somewhere else. A best case scenario!

alittlebird8 She is back to enjoying her little rescue parrots, & we talk every day. I hope you are well, & enjoying a mild winter in Virginia. When my sons were babies, in winter, in Virginia, whenever we were in the car, we would look for the birds nests in the bare tree tops. I miss those days.
