Exquisite Hollywood Regency Gilt Ormolu Ashtray

This is a fantastic Hollywood Regency ashtray fitted into a gilt ormolu footed round frame. The crystal ashtray features a thick diamond pattern cut around the sides and a petal shaped bottom. Measures Appx 4” diameter. Glass is 2” h. Preowned in excellent-rare condition. No chips or cracks to glass. Frame is brass and with no discoloration whatsoever. Heavy. Hollywood Regency style was a product of the Hollywood Golden Age of the 1920s-1950s. So this piece is at least 70 years old. Would also make a exquisite vanity piece, trinket dish or simply as beautiful decoration.
