My tanzanite is a much deeper blue , looks like a deep midnight sapphire but somehow is less dense? Is that what I see here ? Or are tanzanites different colors from different areas of Africa ?

@pkjorn All tanzanite comes from only 1 place in Africa; Tanzania. Like all gems, there are variations in colour. In this case, the darker the stone (with flashes of red) the higher the value.
