Esquire Vargas Pinup Art ARRCO Playing Cards Original Bridge Leather Folio Case

From my father-in-law's estate; he was given these from a business supplier, Paramount Pad Co, Inc. Printed in 1940's by Arrco Playing Card Company for Esquire Magazine. Circa 1945-1950 Leather folio with flap and snap closure. Folio is stamped (under flap) in gold ink "Compliments of PARAMOUNT PAD CO., INC.". Inside is lined in grosgrain satin. Inner leather card pocket is stamped in gold ink "Esquire" Two full decks plus 1 Astrology card per deck Blue deck and red deck Jokers are marked "Copyright 1945, Esquire, Inc." Ace of Spades in each deck is marked "ARRCO PLAYING CARD CO. CHICAGO MADE IN USA" Bridge pad, partially used, cover missing Original pencil Measures closed: 5 2/8" W, 4" H, 1" D open: 10.75" W, 5.25" H, 1" D Condition: vintage condition; leather cover and interior shows wear but has no tears; cards show wear with creases on some cards; no tears; generally clean; lining has no tears; some minor staining; snap closure is tight; from a non-smoking home Free USPS
